Lab-Created Green Sapphire (Flux Fusion Method)
Lab-created green sapphire produced by the flux fusion method is a synthetic form of corundum grown by slowly crystallising aluminium oxide from a molten flux, closely replicating the conditions under which some natural sapphires form. This process produces high-quality gemstones with excellent clarity, durability and natural-looking crystal growth features.
The finished gemstone has the same chemical, physical and optical properties as natural green sapphire. Its green colour is created by adding trace amounts of colouring elements during growth, while the flux acts only as a solvent and is not part of the finished crystal.
