Rating: Be the first to rate this gemstone

The Old Mine Cut cubic zirconia embodies vintage allure with its cushion-shaped outline and larger, irregular facets. Originating from the 18th and 19th centuries, this antique cut features a high crown, small table, and a deep pavilion, evoking a unique play of light and shadow. It's noteworthy that while the original cuts were designed to preserve the carat weight of diamonds and had varied crown heights, our cubic zirconia copy is cut to an ideal version of the Old Mine Cut, capturing its historic charm with precision and brilliance. The Old Mine Cut cubic zirconia captures the charm of yesteryears, adding a touch of historic elegance to any jewelry piece.

    Colour Description

The colour canary yellow is a pale yellow tint that is clear in bigger stones, but in smaller stones looks almost white, this is the next level up of yellow tint which is more obvious than the Warm, Warmer or Yellow Tint stones.

    Why Buy from DiamondCZ?

    1. Cubic Zirconia is the best diamond simulant

Despite the hype around moissanite, Cubic Zirconia remains the most realistic diamond simulant to the naked eye. Its refractive index and dispersion are closer to diamond in appearance, resulting in a more natural sparkle. Moissanite, while often marketed as a superior alternative, sparkles too intensely and shows rainbow flashes that give it away.

    Diamond Cubic Zirconia
    (Closer Match)
    Moissanite
    Refractive Index ~2.42 ~2.15 – 2.18 ~2.65 – 2.69
    Dispersion (Fire) 0.044 0.060 0.104

    2. Quality You Can Trust

Cubic zirconia is often misrepresented. Sellers may label 1A as 3A, or send a few good 6A samples but deliver lower-quality stones in the final order. Others mix poor-quality stones in larger packs without disclosing it.

    3. 20 Years of Sourcing Gemstones

DiamondCZ has partnered with expert gem cutters for over 20 years to deliver true 6A, 5A, and 3A stones. With low overheads you’re paying mostly for the gemstone.
