This Opaque Lab Created Sapphire matches the chemical and physical properties of a natural sapphire. A natural star sapphire has needle like inclusions in a star shape which cause light to reflect off it in a star pattern, it is very rare for a natural sapphire to have a perfect star. A laser is used to make the inclusions on these star sapphires, creating a perfect but natural looking star reflection.
