These cultured sapphires are grown from small natural crystals. They are a closer match to natural Sapphire than the other type for sale on this site as they are quite heavily flawed. They match the chemical properties of a natural Sapphire and have a hardness of 9 Mohs. Note: The colour depth varies from stone to stone as shown in the picture and there may be surface flaws on the stone. It is possible that this material is natural sapphire. The stones shape is not exact and may be uneven and the size is only roughly around the size of the stone, so would have to have a setting made for each individual stone.
